Road to Recovery

Do You Struggle With Habits, Hurts & Hang Ups?

Do you want to experience freedom from addictive, complusive behaviors? Do you find in your life such hang-ups as anger, anxiety and inadequacy? Are you longing for a freedom that creates peace, serenity, joy, and a stronger relationship with God and others? Consider Heartland's Road to Recovery, Heartland's three year old ministry which provides a safe place to deal with sensitive issues.

Road to Recovery is...

... is a safe place to share those parts of your life which may seem awkward. It's a place of refuge and a place of belonging as well as a place to care for others and a place to be cared for by others. Road to Recovery is a place where respect is given to each member and where confidentiality is highly regarded. It's a place to learn, grow and become strong again. It's a place where the mask can come off. It's a place for healthy challenges and healthy risks. This place could be a turning point in your life.

Road to Recovery Is Not...

...a place for an attitude of selfish control. Though your participation may be therapeutic, it is not therapy, Road to Recovery is not a place to hide harmful secrets. It's not a place to look for a date or romantic realtionship. It isn't a place to go to be rescued by others. It is not a place of perfection, a place of judgement, a place to find a quick fix
