Mega Sports Camp - "Breaking Free"
It's time to mark your calendars and dust off your tennis shoes! June 22-26th is the date for our second annual sports themed Vacation Bible School, called Mega Sports Camp - Breaking Free! Need a registration form? Try here.
The camp will take place again at A.I. Root Middle School beginning Sunday, June 22nd and continuing until Thursday, June 26th. Heartland has a long standing tradition of putting on exceptional vacation bible schools for the community of Medina. This year should be no different with your help. Did you know that it takes about 100 people to make this thing run well? In addition to the coaches and assistant coaches for each sport or activity offered we need people to help with snacks, craft supplies, registration, music, babysitting and more...
Sports Available include football for boys in grades 3-6, cheerleading for girls in grades 3-6, volleyball, soccer, basketball and the activity zone for boys and girls in grades 3-6. There will also be a Kidzone for boys and girls in grades 1-2.

Pioneer Club
Established in 1939, Pioneer Clubs are in all fifty states, all Canadian provinces, and various countries around the world. There are
also twenty-four Camp Cheriths, including one conveniently located in Northeast Ohio.
The Heartland Chapter located here in Medina is currently available for girls in grades K-5. We meet regularly at the Medina Recreation Center from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Each week the girls are actively involved in earning badge awards which are both fun and challenging. Each girl will receive a handbook and tote bag to display badges earned during our weekly meetings. We also conclude each week with a time of songs, many silly and some more reflective. Throughout the year we plan exciting outings to enhance our badge work. Girls and parents are welcome to visit any of our weekly meetings at no cost or obligation if you are interested but unsure. We hope you’ll take the time to check us out.
To register, simply call the church office at 330-725-1948. Our yearly fee is $25 which includes a two-year handbook, tote bag for badge display, as many badges as you are able to earn, memory verse cards, and the extra supplies we use throughout the year. Outings and camping may have an additional cost.
